Berwick Parish Council is a statutory consultee for all planning applications in Berwick Parish, and also some that are in adjoining parishes if Berwick Parish is, or could be, affected.
Berwick Parish Council has adopted ‘E-Planning’, receiving plans from Wealden District Council electronically. Parish Councillors acquaint themselves with the detail of the planning application prior to a meeting, consider the application, and after formulation of the Parish Council’s ‘Comments’ at a Parish Council or Planning meeting, submit these back to Wealden District Council electronically.
All planning applications for Berwick Parish are able to be viewed either on the Wealden District Council, or South Downs National Park website.
Current applications:
Any current planning applications to be considered at the next Parish Council meeting will be listed here.
There are currently no planning applications awaiting consideration.
Members of the public are welcome to attend and to comment on any applications being considered. As time is often limited at the meetings, the Parish Council also welcomes comments via e-mail (berwickparishcouncil@aol.com). Comments should be sent no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting in order to be considered by the Parish Council.
